BIOGRAPHY
Sabine Meijers (1975) studied the harp during High school at the Young Talent Department from the ?Brabants Conservatorium? in Tilburg with Ernestine Stoop. After she graduated she continued her harp study with Edward Witsenburg and Ernestine Stoop at The Hague Royal Conservatory.

She now studies at the Academy for Music and Dance in Rotterdam, first with Godelieve Schrama and Sarah O?Brien and since april 2003 with Saskia Kingma. Sabine hopes to graduate in Juli 2004.

Sabine took part in masterclasses with Isabelle Moretti and Germaine Lorenzini for one. In August 2002 she took part in the summerclass from Isabelle Perrin in Courchevel. She followed masterclasses by Andrew Lawrence King and Frances Kelly for Baroque Music in particular. Specially for Jazz Music she took part in masterclasses from Harvi Griffin and Paul Stark.

Sabine has played as an orchestral musician in several orchestra?s including the Rotterdam Young Philharmonic Orchestra and Krashna Musica.She appeared with the ?Haags Matrozenkoor, ?Maasstedelijk Vocaal Ensemble, the Rotterdam Young Ensemble and with her duo?s with flutist Romana Goumare and soprano Janet Schouten.

Sabine teaches the harp at the school of music in Leiden.
